Where to Find Sakura Bloom

If you are looking to farm Sakura Bloom you'll have to leave the shores of the mainland. As it stands, the only place to find these plants are on the islands of Inazuma. All of them are found on the northernmost major island on the hills of Mt. Yougou.

Most can be found around the sacred shrine itself with another bunch on the northern hillsides. If you really stretch yourself and collect every single node on the island, you can walk away with 54 Sakura Bloom per refresh. How quickly you accrue the resource ultimately depends on how much time you're willing to spend getting the harder to reach nodes.

There is likely somewhere you can purchase Sakura Bloom as well, but we're still exploring the new Inazuma region and Genshin Impact 2.0. We'll keep you updated should we find more sources of the material.

Remember, the plants will respawn around every two to three real-world days. Because of this, I recommend hitting both areas areas. This will maximize your farm, reducing the amount of time spent waiting for them to refresh.

Sakura Bloom Uses

At the time of writing this, Sakura Bloom is primarily be used for character ascensions. Right now, Ayaka is the only character who requires this material for ascension. If you really want to, you can also use them to cook Tricolor Dango, Sakura Mochi, and Sakura Tempura. They're also used to craft Electroculus Resonance Stone. These can help you locate nearby Electroculi. Most choose to avoid that and instead use online maps to help them find all of the locations.

It takes 168 Sakura Bloom to reach Ascension 6 for a single character, so I recommend you start farming early. Even if you haven't pulled Ayaka yet, there's always a chance you could pick her up in the next banner. It's also a safe bet that miHoYo will release more characters that need this material so it doesn't hurt to gather some now.
